Museum and tourism guides behind QR codes

A museum or tourist site can give visitors a pocket guide without handing out devices. Place a QR code beside an exhibit or at a trailhead and the visitor’s phone opens the story, photos and practical details. Krealo QR lets you build each page and fix a detail without reprinting a label.

The page your customers will see

A template ready to customise: your colours, your logo, your blocks. The QR code stays the same when you edit it.

Museum and tourism

Create this page

Who it’s for

  • Small museums and heritage sites
  • Tourist offices and guided trails
  • Galleries with rotating exhibitions
  • Historic districts with plaques and panels

How it works

  1. Choose the museum template and write a title and short story for your first stop.
  2. Add photos, the address with a map button, hours and visitor information.
  3. Print one code per stop and place it on the label, the panel or the trail marker.
  4. Revise the text or add a language when you have the time.

What the visitor sees

A readable page with a photo, a few paragraphs about the piece or the place, and buttons for the map, the opening hours and the next stop. You choose the language of the page labels: French, English or Spanish.

Designing a good stop

  • Tell one story per page rather than a catalogue entry.
  • Open with the detail that makes people look closer.
  • Add a PDF with a trail map people can keep.
  • Use the scan count of each code to see which stops draw the most curiosity.

Free or Pro

The Free plan covers a few stops, up to 3 pages, with one advertisement on each. A museum with many stops needs Pro, which has unlimited pages, no advertisement and detailed statistics.

Frequently asked questions

Can I offer the guide in several languages?

Create one page per language and print a code for each, or place a single code that leads to a page with buttons for each language. The page labels can be set to French, English or Spanish.

Will it work without internet in the building?

The page needs a connection, either mobile data or the venue’s Wi-Fi. You can put a Wi-Fi block at the entrance to help visitors connect.
