vCard QR code for your business card

A vCard QR code saves people from typing your details by hand. They scan the code, see your contact page and tap “Add to contacts” to store it in their phone. Krealo QR builds that page in vCard 3.0 format, with an optional photo, and counts every scan. The Free plan is enough to start.

Try a business card QR code

The code holds your details (vCard): when scanned, it offers to add them to contacts. Made in your browser.

No-account demo: this code is static. Its content is fixed, with no stats and no editing.

How to turn your business card into a QR code

  • Sign in to Krealo QR with Google, Apple or a magic link sent by email.
  • Choose the vCard type and fill in your card. Only the name is required.
  • Optionally add a last name, job title, company, two phone numbers, an email, a website, an address and a photo.
  • Download the QR code as a PNG and put it on your business card, email signature or shop window.

What people see when they scan

The code opens a page hosted on krlo.ca that is made to read well on a phone. It shows your details and action buttons:

  • “Add to contacts” downloads a .vcf file, the standard format for contact cards.
  • Call and Send an email: these two buttons appear when the card includes a phone number or an email.

Free or Pro

The vCard type is included in the Free plan, which allows up to 10 active links. The page then carries a “Made with Krealo QR” line. Pro costs US$5.99 a month (US$39.99 a year) plus taxes. It removes that line and adds your logo, colours and SVG and PDF files for printing the code.

Why a page instead of data inside the code

A code that holds the whole card gets dense and is hard to scan when it is small. Here the code holds only a short link, so it stays simple even on a business card. Every scan is counted, and the page is not indexed by search engines.

Tips for the printed card

  • Print the code at least two centimetres wide on a light background.
  • Leave an empty margin all around it.
  • Scan the card with more than one phone before sending it to print.
  • Keep the photo simple: a well-framed face reads better on a small screen.
